DLCL 2017-18 Honors Thesis Students at their end of year reception
Workshops
Because my research interests are interdisciplinary, organizing and directing workshops helps me to draw critical connections between different fields and engage a wider network of scholarship.
I have helped to organize several workshops at the Stanford Humanities Center, including the French Culture Workshop, the Interdisciplinary Approaches to Consciousness, and the Digital Aesthetics Workshop.
In order to pursue my interest in teaching and discussing video game studies in an interdisciplinary setting, I founded and directed the Critical Gaming Workshop, where we critically discussed video games with relation to contemporary discussions of critical theory.
International film studies have always been one of my passions, so for the past five years I worked with and directed the DLCL Film Series, a seminar for undergraduate and graduate students that presents a variety of international films around a chosen theme each quarter. The DLCL Film Series is also open to Continuing Studies students and the general public, creating a unique opportunity for discussion across many different backgrounds.

Tutoring
I worked as an English language tutor at the Stanford Language Orientation program, helping foreign graduate students practice language.
I also worked as a writing tutor for Stanford students participating in the SLE program, an intensive humanities-based program for first- year students, and helped supervise the 2017-18 DLCL Honors Students' Honors Theses projects.
